System Design:


The system design has followed the manual system, with the provision of computer system addition and now have spanned on more geographical area. As illustrated in the aforementioned chapters that no changes in the existing system are done, but only the computerization and some enhancements. In this text we shall discuss the technical aspects of system and description and features will be discussed later.
In this the user requirements will be identified with the aim of trying to understand the difficulties which users are encountering with the current manual system available at the human resource department in any company as well as determine what the expectations employees have to enable the creation of a system that would add value to the needs of employees an address issues which the current system is lacking. The aim is to completely understand the employees environment so that functionality could be added and also so that usability of the system could be improved.

HRIS developement Objectives

Following are the objectives of the HRIS.

1. All the data are stored in the different tables. I create the different table. so to avoid redundancy, so there is no chance of inconsistency.

2. This computerize System will give the complete information about the Patients just like the manual system.

3. The same system can be used for manual system i.e. is also provides the facility to print the information.

4. Depending upon the hardware installed and quality of software, the system will be speedy, reliable, and will require less response time and full effort will be made in this regard.

5. The application software will have a Graphical User Interface (GUI) developed using MS Access. Ms Access xp great integration with operating systems like Windows 98,Windows 2000 and xp. So as users with little knowledge about the computer to operate the database.

6. State of the art technology will be used in order to avoid unauthorized access of restricted data.

7. The software will be easy to alter and will have proper documentation.

Other Objectives are:


1. The system should be fast and reliable.

2. It should be user friendly and easy to understand.

3. Data should be secure.

4. There should be no change in the existing manual system.

Areas Of HRIS syetem


We divided it in to two categories:


physical and logical :


Physical category:

This Human resource information System is designed for Human resource department , But it can be used by different areas with some alterations for example this soft ware can also be designed for inventory ,school information system etc. The project will not be bind of any physical or geographical limitations i.e. technology used open in nature and easy to implement and flexible for future alterations. As the system is not bind of physical or geographical limitations, location of the system will not matter, if user
permitted to use the resources.



Logical category:-

This computerizes system uses technologies like Ms Access xp. MS Access is used as the database which is easy to use but it can be changed to other databases like Oracle or SQL Server in case if the amount of data to be handled is large. More over it is user friendly and easy to use by the users.

The scope of the project will be broadening with the passage if time i.e. if its implementation will be deemed fit for all HR departments

Provides the best Solutions

One must understand the problem before it can be solved. The basis for a database system is the recognition for improving an information system or a procedure.
The problem in this project was mainly how we shall convert the manual system into the computerized system and how the record will be available through database and which tools and software should be used to accomplish this task.

Tools Used

Technical Information :


The HRIS use Ms Visual Basic and Ms Access. This project is a fine combination of the databases.


Ms Visual Basic provide the facilities for programmer to develop the software in easy environment and the scripting of vb is very simple and there are many facilities available in vb . The vb code is enclosed in special start and end tags that allow you to jump into and out of vb mode. It is different from other scripting languages.

Usually there is one person who is true visionary and others help in conforming and disputing the issues involved in making it a reality. However most of the times requirements of the project are not crystal clear.
This software is a good application of database handling. The main thing of the database System is that it gives us the best idea how to relate database.
This database System is made for Human resource department. Basically it was designed with the idea to provide the facility to the employees to know about their records through the database. Though it might seem simple but it is not as simple as it looks like.
The primary goal of creating HRIS is that all information about the employees can be available and user can get all information without any wastage of time, and the information will easily available on that system. Computerize system is the best way of searching information about the employees.
This computerize system is designed to get the history of the employees. This computerize system is designed to improve the performance of hospital. This system is user friendly.
